Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"It's a brilliant concept when you combine a store with a resto! With its fresh and unique design no wonder this brand is quite popular, feels like your unordinary eating out experience. The place, yes it's quite far away from central city but the food is surprisingly comforting. Yes and that red sauce is strawberry jam ladies and gents! They even have huge parking in the basement. If this place isn't so far away I'd go every weekends"
"They have special promotions every Wednesday, unfortunately I was there on Friday. I felt the meatballs slightly different but it's still good. The egg tarts were okay. The coffee was my favourite because it was nice and had strong aromas."
"The place is pretty nice for bringing your dates or your family to eat. Food selection is ranging from their signature Swedish Meatballs to Ayam Rica-rica for you who still want to enjoy Indonesian food. The lighting is pretty intimate with yellow hue on it. But one huge flaw that's sadly kinda ruining this place's atmosphere is that 50% of the people who have finished their meal can't read the sign on the table where it says that every mess they made on the table must be cleaned by the customer themselves, so they leave their mess behind on their table, including the tray, the empty plate, also their cart to bring foods into their table, left as it is. But overall, it's enjoyable and worth it to go back again."
"Meatball is a must-try, just like every other ikea store throughout the world, though they are quite stingy with the jam, I had to ask for additional jams, twice. Sirloin steak is meh, not worth the money spent Sadly they do not have chicken wings"
"Came here since they offer nice price for ikea family member. First time visit ikea alam sutera and love all their food. And the ice cream machine is such a fun way to get an ice cream."
"IKEA food never disappoint. we went there on Wednesday and they got the Wednesday special promotion where u can get the Swedish meatballs and soft drinks combo for only 55K using IKEA Family membership. we also got Mint Chocolate Mud Vake, Swedish Roll and Green Banana Mochi as our dessert. on the lower floor, u can get the 4K ice cream cone and we also got to try the Strawberry Lychee ice cream for 10K and plain hotdog for 10K. such a great deal!"
"It's IKEA! but i usually go there for the foods not a big fan of their meatballs. Its the fish and chips that's the winner for me, good crisp, no fishy taste beef steak is pretty good too."
"So happy to finally be able to dine and visit IKEA for the very first time ever!! Yes, at long last... Was blown away by the massive restaurant area, let alone seeing their food menu. Drooling to the max Can't restrain myself from grabbing every dish in sight. Honestly I was setting my bar low for the meatballs, not half bad Of course not as good as the one in States, hence the low bar. The smoked salmon was good, same goes for the Fish n Chips and the Bratwurst I certainly had a great time dining here, accompanied by my Cuzzies. Thanks again guys for taking me there Well worth the time, perhaps the next we could explore the floors more."
